HISTORIC REVIVAL
Originally designed by Henry Charles Trost, The Banque combines urban energy and contemporary design while maintaining the original, historical classic, business renaissance style. Complete with Palladian style windows and intricately crafted medallions and pilasters, this architectural masterpiece historically, the First National Bank Building, became an Albuquerque landmark in 1979. The Banque was Albuquerque’s first skyscraper built originally in 1922, and it is still the tallest structure on the city’s famed downtown Central Avenue, part of the original Route 66.
